PSIL.O'S VEINS
H O W I T W O R K S .
Embedded in PSIL.O’s veins are the underlying notions of emotion relating to anxiety and the journey of recovery. We begin by entering underground in a state of agitation and growing anxiousness, being transported to a space depicting hallucinations ghosting over the mechanical shell of the being of WBPS - transporting our senses. We then travel down to be confronted within our rotational exhibition spaces featuring local creatives’ depiction of mental illness within the ‘Peek Inside Your Mind’ exhibition, then out into the free ‘Head in the Clouds’ exhibition where recovery is depicted. We can see below us, through the void, there is hope. We are able to relate, to converse and to breathe. The artery punctures through reminding us to breathe.
